Weather Week in Coweta County: Sunny, mild on Thanksgiving

Despite a forecast of rain overnight Tuesday and early Wednesday, most of Thanksgiving week will be mild and sunny.
The National Weather Service in Peachtree City says Thanksgiving Day that folks should expect sunny skies with a high near 62 and a low of 45 that evening.
Rain chances move back in over the weekend.
Below is the day-by-day forecast from the NWS (as of 6 a.m.):
MONDAY – Patchy fog before 8am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 61. Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph.
MONDAY NIGHT – Mostly clear, with a low around 38. Southwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm.
TUESDAY – Mostly sunny, with a high near 64. South wind around 5 mph.
TUESDAY NIGHT – A 50 percent chance of showers, mainly after 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 52. South wind around 5 mph.
WEDNESDAY – Showers likely, mainly before 1pm. Cloudy, with a high near 69. South wind around 5 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
THANKSGIVING DAY – Mostly sunny, with a high near 62.
FRIDAY – Mostly sunny, with a high near 66.
