Weather Week in Coweta: Sunny and cold through Thursday

After a cold front moves through this morning, folks in Coweta County can expect mostly clear skies and breezy conditions the majority of the week according to the National Weather Service in Peachtree City.
With the clear skies come much cooler temperatures with highs only reaching the mid-40s and lows dipping into the 20s through Thursday morning. Winds will be from the Northwest around 15 mph, gusting to 25 today and Tuesday. A warming trend and rain is expected by the weekend.

Monday – Mostly sunny, with a high near 48. Northwest wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
Tuesday – Sunny, with a high near 44. West wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
Wednesday – Sunny, with a high near 47. Northwest wind around 10 mph.
Thursday – Mostly sunny, with a high near 57.
Friday – A 20 percent chance of light rain. Partly sunny, with a high near 61.
