Weather Week in Coweta: Surprisingly, sunny skies through weekend
From Staff Reports
With Hurricane Dorian still spinning off the Atlantic coast, sunny skies and practically no chance of rain were probably the last things anyone thought would be in the week’s forecast from the National Weather Service.
But, that’s exactly what the forecast states – mostly sunny skies with highs in the low 90s through Sunday.
Of course, that could change drastically if Dorian decides to move inland into the Florida or Georgia coasts. So with any approaching hurricane or tropical storm, continue looking for weather updates and be on the alert.
Below is the rest of the 4-day work week forecast day-by-day from the NWS:
TUESDAY – Mostly sunny, with a high near 93. Light northeast wind becoming east 5 to 10 mph in the morning.
WEDNESDAY – Sunny, with a high near 95. North wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
THURSDAY – Sunny, with a high near 91. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
FRIDAY – Sunny, with a high near 90.
