Wednesday: Free Admission, 4-H Goat Show, Wandering Pirates

Today is exactly one week into the 2021 Kiwanis Coweta County Fair at the Coweta County Fairgrounds and Conference Center.
The Day 7 gates open at 5 p.m. and there’s free Gate Admission thanks to sponsor Jake Stanley State Farm.
Wednesday’s schedule of entertainment, exhibits and competitions are listed below.
5-10 pm – Exhibits on Display – Exhibit Hall
5-10 pm – Animal Exhibits – Ag Building
5 pm – The Wandering Pirate Show – Food Court
6-9:30 pm – DJ Dance Party & DJ Boots Entertainment – Walker Horne Stage
6:30 pm – 4-H Goat Show – Livestock Arena
7:30 pm – Nightly Parade – Food Court
TBA – Wayne Jenkins Painting Demo – Exhibit Hall
TBA – Moto FreeStyle Show
TBA – Muttville Comix Show – Midway
TBA – Southeastern Reptile Rescue Exhibit – Midway Annex

Weather-wise, the first official day of fall arrives this afternoon and with it is a strong cold front that will move through and clear all the moisture that’s settled into Coweta County for almost a week. When the gates open, folks can expect clearing skies with temperatures in the low 70s and a northwest wind around 10 mph.
Fair hours on Wednesday are 5 to 11 p.m. Parking is free.
