Weekend Things To Do: November 1-2-3

From Staff Reports
As the calendar turns to November today, the chilly temperatures finally give the feel of autumn here in Coweta County. And though not as many events this weekend as a week ago, there are still plent of family-friendly things to do.
Starting today, it’s the three-day 51st Annual Christmas Arts and Crafts Market at the Coweta Fairgrounds. The Newnan Carnegie hosts Nancy Drew Night, and Seavy Street Park in Senoia is the site for Movie Night in the Park, a rescheduled event. Five local teams will be in action on the prep football scene tonight with four games played here locally.
On Saturday, Main Street Newnan sponsors Market Day around the Courthouse Square, the Graceland Thrift Store Annual Fall Festival is at Christian City, Renew Fitness Center and NeuroMotion Physical Therapy co-host a Mini Health Fair and Open House, Crossroads Church is holding a 5K Trail Run, and it’s a Free Mulch Day in Peachtree City. Children can read to therapy dogs as part of the CAREing Paws event at Powell Library in Newnan, and learn to make bird feeders for wintering birds at the Chattahoochee Bend State Park.
And on Sunday, “The Sleepy Hollow Experience” continues at Serenbe Playhouse with a pair of shows. Plus, don’t forget to set your clocks back one hour as Daylight Saving Time ends at 2 a.m.
There’s plenty of local, live music around the area all three days and Kris Youmans has the calendar listed below.
