Weekend Weather: Rain chances through Sunday

The rainy pattern continues again on another weekend as the National Weather Service in Peachtree City says rain chances of 20 to 50 percent and mostly cloudy skies are in the forecast through Sunday.

Today, expect a 50 percent rain chance with a high near 61 degrees. The chance drops to 20 percent on Saturday with a high of 59.

And on Sunday, a 20 percent rain chance is listed in the afternoon and increases to 50 percent at night. High will be near 55. Lows are expected to be in the mid-40s all weekend.

Below is the day-by-day forecast from the NWS:

FRIDAY – A 50 percent chance of showers, mainly after 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 61. Southeast wind around 5 mph.

FRIDAY NIGHT – A 50 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 45. Calm wind becoming northeast around 5 mph after midnight.

SATURDAY – A 20 percent chance of showers between noon and 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 59. East wind around 5 mph.

SATURDAY NIGHT – Mostly cloudy, with a low around 44. East wind around 5 mph.

SUNDAY – A 20 percent chance of showers after 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 55. East wind around 10 mph.

SUNDAY NIGHT – A 50 percent chance of showers. Cloudy, with a low around 47.
