Hometown Novel Nights return at the Carnegie on Thursday

Join the Newnan Carnegie Library and Hometown Novel Nights on Thursday, Aug. 20 at 7 p.m. for this special Zoom event.
This HNN evening will be with three outstanding Georgia authors – Valerie Valdes, Pat McKee and Angie Gallion.
Participants can watch from the comfort and convenience of their home. The Zoom link information will be emailed as soon as you register via Eventbrite. Each author will share about themselves, their writing journey, and their latest book(s). Books will be available to purchase from the Carnegie or Corner Arts Gallery & Studios (the event sponsors). This event will be recorded in case viewers can’t make it at the scheduled time.
Author Valerie Valdes is most recently published in Uncanny Magazine, Time Travel Short Stories, and Nightmare Magazine. Her debut novel Chilling Effect was published by Harper Voyager in September 2019 and by Orbit UK in February 2020.
Pat McKee is a local Newnan lawyer and first-time novelist of Ariel’s Island, which was a winner of National Indie Excellence Award. A graduate of Georgia State University and Emory Law School, Pat and his wife, Donna, live in Newnan where he practices law.
Angie Gallion is a regular at Hometown Novel Nights and designs a lot of the posters and social media for HNN. She is also the author of Intoxic, Purgus, Icara, Emergent, and Off the Dark Ledge. She resides in Sharpsburg with her family.
