Each month we cover some of the hot trends from health and wellness, fashion and style, business or even tapping into your creative side.

Leopard print is a must-have for Fall
Leopard is always popular, but this Fall you will see even more leopard than ever. I think leopard print is timeless. I know I’ve mentioned this print before, but trust me, it’s a must have. If animal print is outside your comfort zone then go for a small bag, scarf or even a bracelet.

You will feel fabulous and trendy too.

Positive Preferential Parking
Everyone wants to find the closest parking spot when we go to the store. But many stores are making sure those prime spots are set aside. Specialized parking for the handicapped have been around for decades, but there are some new trends, like those for pregnant women. The local Home Depot now has parking spaces reserved up close to the store for combat wounded veterans.

What a simple yet awesome way to honor those who fought for us.

Oversized Handbags
Big oversized handbags are in. But in my opinion, were they ever really out? I, along with many others, think they are yet another timeless accessory. My favorite is the bag in a bag. You carry your essentials in a smaller purse within the big bag. And hey, even if you gain weight, those handbags will still fit.

Sweaters are a staple this Fall
I spoke with Gracie Martin at C.S. Toggery and she said that oversized fluffy comfy sweaters are hot this fall. Those sweaters will make quite a statement paired with leggings, cowboy boots or even fun hot pink knee high rain boots. Wearing these sweaters with high heels can also create a slim look when cinched with a great belt. And this is a trend that works for women of all ages.

A quick way to get in the mood for fall is with candles. Newnan Mercantile on Newnan’s downtown square carries Park Hill candles and has perfect flavors like Autumn Gathering and Pumpkin Bourbon. One other easy ways to transform your home quickly is by creating a fall tablescape. You can do any look you want for very little cost or even invest in glass pumpkins as seen in this picture and use them for years to come. Create whatever look you want from elegant, rustic to fun depending on the age of your children and lifestyle.
