The 3 p.m. Daily Status Report of the COVID-19 pandemic has been issued by the Georgia Department of Public Health for Saturday, Oct. 10.

COWETA COUNTY CASES

Coweta County confirmed 25 new cases of COVID-19 today, including 1 death and 2 hospitalizations. The death was of a 65-year-old white male with no underlying conditions. It was the 9th death during October in Coweta due to COVID and the 30th since Sept. 1. The 25 cases were the most in a single day for Coweta since 29 on Aug. 29.

Overall, Georgia has recorded cumulative totals of 330,269 cases, 7393 deaths, 29,611 hospitalizations and 5508 ICU admits.
