The City of Newnan’s annual Christmas parade will begin at 6:00 p.m. The theme is “Christmas Around the World!” The parade will include floats, walking groups, decorated cars and trucks, and marching bands. Every year there is a float contest that goes along with the parade.
The entry fee is $35.

2nd Annual NJSL Luminaria
The Newnan Junior Service League “Light Up Newnan” starts at 6:00 p.m. This event directly benefits Coweta CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), and all proceeds will go towards the training of volunteers. Each Luminaria kit is $1, and includes 12 candles, 12 white bags, 12 votive cups, and sand. You can place your orders online or download the Luminaria order form at www.njslserves.org. Masterworks Chorale joins with the Chancel Choir of Newnan First United Methodist Church in a presentation of one of the most well-known and beautiful representations of the story of Christmas through music.
