A taste of summer is in the forecast for Coweta County this weekend, says the National Weather Service in Peachtree City.

High temperatures of 84 today, 85 on Saturday and 88 on Sunday are expected with mostly sunny skies. Overnight lows will be in the 60s.

Winds will be calm to 5 mph over the weekend and the next chance of rain that the National Weather Service is giving comes Monday.

Below is the day-by-day forecast (subject to change) from the NWS:

FRIDAY – Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 84. Calm wind becoming southeast around 5 mph in the morning.

FRIDAY NIGHT – Mostly clear, with a low around 60. Calm wind.

SATURDAY – Mostly sunny, with a high near 85. Calm wind becoming east around 5 mph in the afternoon.

SATURDAY NIGHT – Mostly clear, with a low around 62. Southeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

SUNDAY – Mostly sunny, with a high near 88. Calm wind becoming southeast around 5 mph in the afternoon.

SUNDAY NIGHT – Partly cloudy, with a low around 65.
