UPDATE (7 p.m.) – Today’s second Daily Status Report has been issued by the Georgia Department of Public Health for Tuesday, April 21.

This report indicates 20,166 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Georgia (an increase of 285 from Tuesday’s noon report) and 818 deaths (an increase of 19 from earlier today).

In Coweta County, the number of confirmed cases dropped to 169 (a decrease of 1 from earlier today) and 4 deaths remain unchanged. The deaths in Coweta … a 58 year-old female, 42 year-old female, 84 year-old female and 77 year-old male.

Adding the totals for today (Tuesday) only, there’s 767 new cases, 43 deaths and 182 people hospitalized in Georgia since last night’s report.

The top five counties in Georgia with the most confirmed cases – Fulton 2206, DeKalb 1563, Dougherty 1456, Gwinnett 1238, and Cobb 1230.
