UPDATE (7 p.m.) – Today’s second Daily Status Report has been issued by the Georgia Department of Public Health for Wednesday, April 8.

This report indicates 10,189 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Georgia (an increase of 308 from today’s noon report) and 369 deaths (an increase of 7 from earlier today). In Coweta County, the number of confirmed cases rose to 81 (up 2 from earlier today) and 2 deaths remain unchanged.

The top five counties in Georgia with the most confirmed cases – Fulton 1269, Dougherty 1003, DeKalb 735, Cobb 601 and Gwinnett 589.
