Vicki Kaiser named Chief Operations Officer at Piedmont Newnan

Vicki Kaiser has been named chief operations officer (COO) at Piedmont Newnan Hospital, after serving as Executive Director since Oct. 2015, and brings over 20 years of healthcare experience to her new role. 

 “I am excited to have Vicki serve as the new COO at Piedmont Newnan,” said Mike Robertson, chief executive officer (CEO) of Piedmont Newnan. “She is a tremendous asset and will continue to accomplish great things in this new role, as the hospital continues to grow in size and provide one of the highest levels of quality and care in the Piedmont system to live our mission to make a positive difference in every life we touch.”

 As COO, Kaiser will be responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of Piedmont Newnan’s facilities, including management oversight for the development of high-quality, cost-effective and integrated clinical programs within the hospital. She will be responsible for enforcing the Piedmont system’s policies and procedures and managing human and material resource to ensure patient and doctor satisfaction, high employee morale and hospital profitability.

 Prior to her role as COO, Kaiser served as Executive Director of Oncology, Support Services and Community Affairs. She held that role for the past six years and was responsible for strategic oversight of the oncology service line, including local daily operations and collaboration with Piedmont Healthcare system oncology leadership. She also led Piedmont Newnan’s community affairs efforts, building relationships with key community sectors and working to execute Piedmont’s Community Benefit plan. Her other responsibilities have included oversight of Facilities Management, Pharmacy, Laboratory, Imaging and Construction. Kaiser has been a part of Piedmont Healthcare since 2007, and has worked in various healthcare roles during her over 20-year career in Atlanta’s Southern Crescent.

 “I am very thankful for the opportunity to serve in this new role and continue to represent Piedmont in our local community,” Kaiser said.

 Kaiser is a graduate of Clayton College & State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management. She later earned her MBA from the University of West Georgia.
