Weather: Another half and half weekend forecast

Folks here in Coweta County get another half and half weekend weather-wise, says the National Weather Service in Peachtree City.
The dry and sunny half starts today and ends Saturday. Friday’s forecast calls for sunny skies with a high of 52 degrees. North winds will be 5-10 mph. Overnight, mostly clear with a low of 30. And on Saturday, partly sunny skies with a high of 53 is expected.
The wet half of the weekend starts late Saturday night as a storm system moves through the area and rain chances reach 70%. On Sunday, showers and possibly a thunderstorm is forecast with a high of 65. Rain chances are listed at 80 percent.

FRIDAY – Sunny, with a high near 52. North wind 5 to 10 mph.
FRIDAY NIGHT – Mostly clear, with a low around 30. Calm wind.
SATURDAY – Partly sunny, with a high near 53. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
SATURDAY NIGHT – Rain likely, mainly after 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 43. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
SUNDAY – Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 1pm, then a slight chance of showers. High near 65. South wind around 10 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%.
SUNDAY NIGHT – Mostly cloudy, with a low around 37.
MONDAY – Mostly cloudy, with a high near 44.
