Weather: More rain in Coweta through Wednesday

UPDATE (4:05 p.m.): The National Weather Service has extended the Flash Flood Watch until 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 21.
From Staff Reports
The remnants of Tropical Storm Nicholas kick-started a wet weather pattern for much of the Southeast, including here in Coweta.
And the National Weather Service in Peachtree City says to expect more of the same today, Tuesday and Wednesday before a cold front moves through. That front will arrive about the same time as the start of Fall on Wednesday. With it, the front will bring dry conditions and much cooler temperatures just in time for the end of the week.
A Flash Flood Watch for Coweta County and other counties in West Central Georgia remains in effect until 8 p.m. tonight. It was originally scheduled to end this morning but the National Weather Service extended it due to today’s high rain chances.
