Weather: Clear, sunny skies continue but highs to reach 90s in Coweta

The present string of days with clear and sunny skies will continue through this work week here in Coweta County, says the National Weather Service in Peachtree City.

Though the official start to fall is Thursday, Sept. 22, a warming trend is in store beginning Tuesday where high temperatures will reach the lower 90s. The good news … humidity levels will remain moderate as overnight lows will continue to be in the mid-60s.

Friday’s forecast and into the weekend contains high temperatures in the lower 80s with overnight lows in the 50s. As of this morning, no mention of rain is in the seven-day extended forecast.

MONDAY – Sunny, with a high near 86. Calm wind becoming north around 5 mph in the afternoon.

MONDAY NIGHT – Clear, with a low around 65. Calm wind.

TUESDAY – Sunny, with a high near 90. Calm wind becoming north around 5 mph in the afternoon.

WEDNESDAY – Sunny, with a high near 91. Calm wind becoming northeast around 5 mph.

THURSDAY – Sunny, with a high near 92.

FRIDAY – Sunny, with a high near 81.

SATURDAY – Sunny, with a high near 83.
