Weekend Things To Do: March 1-2-3

From Staff Reports
With spring just around the corner, the weekends in Coweta County are slowly awakening with more events over the course of a Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
A pair of huge consignment sales are taking place, hosted by SonRise Baptist Church and Newnan First United Methodist Church today and Saturday. At the Brickhouse Grill & Tavern, a popular Fleetwood Mac tribute band – Rumours – is the headlining musical act tonight.
On Saturday, the Chattahoochee Bend State Park offers three activities including a two-mile Keep Your Resolution hike. Later than evening, N.I.T.W.I.T.S. – Newnan Theatre Company’s Improvisation Troupe – takes the stage.
And Sunday, the Nixon Centre hosts “Tapestry: The Carole King Tribute Show.”
Weather-wise, rain is forecast each day according to the National Weather Service in Peachtree City. It appears that Saturday might be the best day with a high temperature of 66 degrees and only a 20 percent rain chance.
