Weather: Mild and dry week ahead for Coweta

Mild temperatures with little or no chance of rain is in the work week forecast for Coweta County, according to the National Weather Service in Peachtree City.
High temperatures will be 73 today and 75 on Tuesday under sunny skies with overnight lows near 50 degrees.
A dry cold front moves through midweek, dropping high temperatures on Wednesday to 65 and Thursday to 66. The big news of the week is Wednesday night’s expected low of 38 and then Thursday’s overnight low of 42.
Clouds move in Friday with partly sunny skies and a high of 71.
Rain chances return at 70 percent on Saturday with a high of 71.

WEDNESDAY – Sunny, with a high near 65. Northwest wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
THURSDAY – Sunny, with a high near 66.
FRIDAY – Partly sunny, with a high near 71.
SATURDAY – Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 71. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
