Weather: High temperatures near 90 through Thursday

Summer continues on here in Coweta County as high temperatures this week are expected to be near 90 degrees, says the National Weather Service in Peachtree City.
Forecast highs will be 88 today, 89 on Tuesday and Wednesday, 90 on Thursday and falling to 86 on Friday. Overnight lows will be near 70.
Rain probabilities start at 10 percent today, 30 percent on Tuesday, 20 percent on Wednesday, 0 percent Thursday and 50 percent on Friday.
The early Labor Day weekend forecast calls for mostly cloudy skies on Saturday with a high of 83 and a 50 percent rain chance. Sunday’s outlook will be partly sunny with a high near 84 and a 40 percent rain chance.

TUESDAY – A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 4pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 89. Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph.
WEDNESDAY – A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 89. Calm wind becoming north around 5 mph in the afternoon.
THURSDAY – Sunny, with a high near 90.
FRIDAY – A slight chance of showers between 9am and 3pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 86. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
SATURDAY – A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 83.
