Weather: Warm, humid work week ahead for Coweta

Coweta County appears to be getting an early look at the summer this week, weather-wise, according to the National Weather Service in Peachtree City.
High temperatures are expected to be in the mid-80s through Thursday with a 20 to 30 percent rain chance each day. Overnight lows should be in the lower 60s.
Mostly sunny skies are in the forecast with increasing clouds beginning Wednesday and rain chances increasing Friday.

MONDAY NIGHT – A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 2am. Partly cloudy, with a low around 62. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph.
TUESDAY – Mostly sunny, with a high near 85. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
TUESDAY NIGHT – A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 2am. Partly cloudy, with a low around 64. Southwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
WEDNESDAY – A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 85. West wind around 5 mph.
THURSDAY – A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 87.
