Weather: Nice start to work week, then rain moves in

This work week for Coweta County folks will have two distinct weather forecasts.
According to the National Weather Service in Peachtree City, Monday and Tuesday will be mostly sunny with highs near 89 degrees. A 10 percent rain chance is listed for today and 30 percent for tonight. Tuesday should be dry.
Everything changes from Wednesday to Friday as rain probabilities drastically increase.
Wednesday begins partly sunny with a high near 86 degrees. Rain chances go from 30 percent early in the day, to 60 percent in the afternoon and 70 percent overnight.
Showers are likely on Thursday with mostly cloudy skies and a high of 79 degrees. Rain chances are listed at 70 percent during the day and that evening.
On Friday, more of the same with mostly cloudy conditions and an 80 percent chance of rain. The high will be 79.
Saturday’s forecast looks slightly better with only a 50 percent rain chance and a high of 83.

TUESDAY – Sunny, with a high near 89. North wind around 5 mph.
WEDNESDAY – Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after 3pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 86. East wind around 5 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
THURSDAY – A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 9am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 79. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
FRIDAY – A chance of showers, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 9am. High near 79. Chance of precipitation is 80%.
SATURDAY – A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 83.
