From Staff Reports

Finally, Coweta County has a weather forecast it can love.

After a stationary front lingered just south of Coweta County for about a week or more, it is being cleared out by a cold front which pushes through today. And it means beginning tomorrow – sunny skies, no rain and cooler temperatures.

The official start to the fall season is 10 days away – Sept. 22 – but Coweta County will get an early preview with overnight lows of 55 and 58 the next two nights. High temperatures during the day will remain in the lower 80s with less humidity and sunny skies throughout the work week and into the weekend.

After today’s 20 percent rain chance this afternoon, there is no mention of rain through Sunday in the extended forecast.
