Weather: Highs expected to be in the 70s beginning Wednesday

With spring less than two weeks away, Coweta County will get a week’s worth of previews as sunny skies are forecast with temperatures in the 70s set to arrive midweek.
The National Weather Service in Peachtree City says to expect sunny to partly sunny skies all week with highs starting in the upper 60s on Monday and Tuesday before reaching 76 on Friday.
Overnight lows will be around 35 tonight, but will gradually rise as the week goes on to near 50 Thursday night.
The first mention of rain in the extended forecast is Sunday at 20 percent.

TUESDAY – Mostly sunny, with a high near 68. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph in the afternoon.
