Weather: Rain again forecast for the work week

The National Weather Service extended forecast calls for rain chances of at least 50 percent every day of this work week here in Coweta County.
A stationary front in north Georgia is the reason for the high rain chances, especially early in the week. It has opened the door for Gulf moisture to flow into the area out of the southwest which is bringing 80 percent rain chances today and tonight, then 70 percent on both Tuesday and Wednesday.
High temperatures will be near 80 degrees today and Tuesday due to the clouds and rain and move to the mid-80s by Wednesday. Overnight lows will be around 70.
Rain chances go down to 50 percent beginning Thursday.

Mostly cloudy, with a high near 80. Calm wind becoming southwest around 5 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
