Weather: Rain chances continue daily through work week in Coweta

The National Weather Service in Peachtree City says the weather pattern for Coweta County this work week will be much of the same as last week – a chance of showers and thunderstorms every day.
The good news is that high temperatures will be in the lower 80s throughout the week. Rain probabilities, though, are listed as 60 percent today, 30 percent on Tuesday, 60 percent on Wednesday, 80 percent Thursday and again 60 percent on Friday.
Overnight lows will be in the upper 60s.

MONDAY – A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 2pm, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm between 2pm and 3pm, then showers and thunderstorms likely after 3pm. Patchy fog before 10am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 81. Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
MONDAY NIGHT – Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly before 11pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 68. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
TUESDAY – A slight chance of showers, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 84. Calm wind becoming northwest around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
WEDNESDAY – A slight chance of showers, then showers and thunderstorms likely after 9am. Partly sunny, with a high near 83. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
THURSDAY – A chance of showers, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 9am. High near 80. Chance of precipitation is 80%.
FRIDAY – A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 3pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 82. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
SATURDAY – A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 84.
