Weather: Expect highs in the 90s all work week

To almost no one’s surprise, the August work week here in Coweta County will see high temperatures at 90 degrees or above each day.
The National Weather Service says look for a high today of 92 degrees, then 91 on Tuesday, 90 on both Wednesday and Thursday and 91 on Friday. A Heat Index Value of 99 is forecast for Tuesday.
Rain chances are only at 30 percent today, but chances for those afternoon showers and possible thunderstorms increase to 60 percent on Tuesday and Wednesday, then drop slightly to 50 percent on Thursday and Friday.
Overnight lows will be near 72.
