Weather Week in Coweta: Guess what? More rain headed this way

Just when you thought the rain pattern has gone away, think again.
The National Weather Service in Peachtree City says to expect a 50% rain chance from Tuesday night through Saturday. High temperatures will be in the mid-60s while lows in the 40s.
Today will be the best day of the week with sunny skies and a high near 61. On Tuesday, expect partly cloudy skies with a 20 percent rain chance moving in after 2 p.m. The high will be 64.
Then rain moves in the remainder of the week. Below is the day-by-day forecast (as of 7:30 a.m.) by the NWS:
TODAY – Sunny, with a high near 61. North wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
TUESDAY – A 20 percent chance of showers after 2pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 64. Southeast wind around 5 mph.
WEDNESDAY – A 50 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 65. East wind around 5 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon.
THURSDAY – Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Cloudy, with a high near 66. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
FRIDAY – A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 69.
