Weather Week in Coweta: Sunny, warm; chance of rain late Thursday, Friday

The National Weather Service in Peachtree City says to expect warm, sunny skies from much of the upcoming work week.
The forecast calls for sunny skies with highs near 82 today through Wednesday. Lows will be in the mid-50s.
On Thursday, a 20% rain chance moves in during the day and it increases to 50 percent later that night. Friday looks like a mostly cloudy day with a 60 percent rain chance and a high near 78.

TODAY – Sunny, with a high near 82. Calm wind becoming northwest around 5 mph.
TUESDAY – Sunny, with a high near 82. Calm wind becoming southwest around 5 mph in the afternoon.
WEDNESDAY – Mostly sunny, with a high near 80. West wind around 5 mph.
THURSDAY – A 20 percent chance of showers after 9am. Partly sunny, with a high near 82.
FRIDAY – A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 9am. Cloudy, with a high near 78. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
