Weather Week in Coweta: Typical Summer forecast through weekend

From Staff Reports
The National Weather Service in Peachtree City says to expect a typical summer weather pattern this first week of July here in Coweta County.
Simply put, hot and humid with a chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Rinse and repeat.
Looking ahead to Independence Day on Thursday, the forecast calls for mostly sunny skies with a high near 93 degrees and a 30 percent chance of rain.
