The pleasant fall weather will continue for much of the week before rain moves into Coweta County on Friday, according to the National Weather Service in Peachtree City.

Look for mostly sunny skies with a gradual warming trend through the week. Monday’s high will be near 78 degrees. By Wednesday, the high will be 83 and on Thursday 82.  Lows will be in the 50s.

Tropical Storm Delta will enter the Gulf of Mexico late Tuesday and has a chance to develop into a hurricane with possible landfall from the Louisiana to Alabama coastline. As a result here locally, rain chances move to 60 percent on Friday and 50 percent on Saturday.
