Not the best forecast for a weekend in Coweta County, but it won’t be a complete washout either.

The National Weather Service in Peachtree City gives a rain chance of 30 percent today, 60 percent Saturday and 40 percent on Sunday. The highest rain chance on Saturday is after 2 p.m., and before 2 p.m. on Sunday.

Otherwise, warm temperatures will continue with highs in the lower 80s.

FRIDAY – A slight chance of showers, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 11am. Partly sunny, with a high near 85. Southeast wind around 5 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

FRIDAY NIGHT – A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 8pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 65. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.

SATURDAY – Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after 2pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 83. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

SATURDAY NIGHT – Showers and thunderstorms likely. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 64. Southwest wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

SUNDAY – A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 79. West wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.

SUNDAY NIGHT – A 10 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8pm. Mostly clear, with a low around 58.
