Weekend Weather in Coweta: Much cooler, Freeze Warning Saturday morning

After a couple of days of reaching the 70-degree mark, fall has returned as a Freeze Warning will be in effect Friday night from midnight through 10 a.m. on Saturday.
The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued the Freeze Warning which includes Coweta and most of North and Central Georgia as frost and freeze conditions will kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing. The low overnight tonight is expected to drop to 32 degrees.
Otherwise, folks can expect a dry weekend that starts off blustery on Friday with partly cloudy skies and a high of 54 along with North winds from 10-15 mph, gusting to 20. On Saturday, sunny skies are expected with a high near 56 and winds becoming calm in the afternoon. And on Sunday, sunny skies again are in the forecast with a high of 64.

FRIDAY – Partly sunny, with a high near 54. North wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
FRIDAY NIGHT – Mostly clear, with a low around 32. North wind 5 to 10 mph becoming east after midnight. Freeze Warning in effect from midnight to 10 a.m. Saturday.
SATURDAY – Sunny, with a high near 56. East wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the afternoon.
SATURDAY NIGHT – Clear, with a low around 36. Calm wind.
SUNDAY – Sunny, with a high near 64. Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph.
SUNDAY NIGHT – Clear, with a low around 41.
