Weekend Weather in Coweta: Rain moves out, dry Saturday

It appears the rainy pattern for the weekend might take a pause, according to the National Weather Service in Peachtree City.
Today’s rainy start will give way to clearing in the afternoon and Saturday will actually be dry for the first time in a while. Expect sunny skies on Saturday with a high near 49 degrees.
On Sunday, clouds move back in as the high reaches 53. And rain chances move to 40 percent on Sunday night with a low around 40.
Below is the day-by-day forecast (as of 6 a.m. Friday, subject to change) from the NWS:
FRIDAY – Showers, mainly before noon. High near 58. Southeast wind around 10 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
FRIDAY NIGHT – Partly cloudy, with a low around 35. West wind around 5 mph.
SATURDAY – Mostly sunny, with a high near 49. West wind 5 to 10 mph.
SATURDAY NIGHT – Mostly cloudy, with a low around 32. Northwest wind around 5 mph.
SUNDAY – Mostly cloudy, with a high near 53. West wind around 5 mph.
SUNDAY NIGHT – A 40 percent chance of rain. Cloudy, with a low around 40.
