Weather: Rain today, warmer Wednesday and Thursday in Coweta

Rain moves through Coweta County today and early Tuesday before temperatures reach the 70s later in the week, according to the National Weather Service in Peachtree City.
A 60 percent rain chance today and 50 percent tonight, combined with a high temperature of only 55 degrees will make for a cold, fall day here in Coweta.
The rain moves out Tuesday afternoon and temperatures begin to climb, reaching 69 degrees for a high.
Then Wednesday and Thursday, clouds begin to decrease and high temperatures both days will be in the 70s, with a forecast high of 72 on Wednesday and 74 on Thursday.
Another cold front moves through on Friday with rain chances listed at 30 percent and and slightly cooler temps behind it with a high of 68.
Overnight lows throughout the week will be in the 50s.

TUESDAY – A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 69. South wind around 5 mph.
WEDNESDAY – Mostly cloudy, with a high near 72. Southwest wind around 5 mph.
THURSDAY – Mostly sunny, with a high near 74.
FRIDAY – A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly before 1pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 68.
