Filming of “Conjuring 3” Coming To Downtown Newnan

Newnan City Council has approved allowing Kiki Tree Pictures, Inc. to film parts of the movie “Conjuring 3” in downtown Newnan.

Filming is set for Friday, June 28, and Monday, July 8, according to Ashley Copeland, city spokeswoman. Because of the large number of parking spaces requested, city council asked the production staff to work with the city to figure how to “decrease the impact of taking up parking during regular business hours downtown.”
