Friday: Pollen Count up again, rises to 1,336

From Staff Reports
The Pollen Count jumped overnight to 1,336, up from Thursday’s count of 752, and remains in the High Range heading into the Easter Weekend.
The Atlanta Allergy & Asthma Clinic says today’s major active pollens are trees – oak, pine, mulberry, sycamore and willow. Both Grass and Weed Pollen registered in the Low Range but Mold remains in the High Range.
The Pollen Count is the measurement of the number of pollen grains in a cubic meter of air. The higher the pollen count, more than likely it leads to increased rates of an allergic reaction for folks with allergic disorders.
