May, the month of May flowers, Mother’s Day and more showers to make gardens grow.

I have so much to write about I am not sure where to start. On March 24 I had the pleasure of attending Shrek, The Musical, at the Newnan High School auditorium. It was truly magnificent, the cast was fantastic and I got to have my picture taken with all the many characters after the play ended.

Everyone in that play was outstanding in their performance, four thumbs up Newnan High School.

The treasure of the month for the Courthouse Square is RPM Full Service. I just love their pork belly sandwich, which I ordered the last five times I visited. Yummy. They are located at 15 Jackson St. You can call 770-683-1414 for more information. Tell em you saw it in “The Paper” and that they have been Mr. Personality approved.

April 11 was the Taste of Newnan and it was truly wall-to-wall people everywhere, a great turnout. I loved the changes this year, plenty of tables and chairs. Great job Main Street.

If you have not visited The Red Letter Merchant at 7 West Washington Street you are indeed missing out on the coolest store in town. It’s run and owned by Tony Caro. You truly need to experience this place for yourself and yes, they are Mr. Personality approved.

The Red Letter Merchants has Blake Michele Design owned by Blake Pritchett. For more information, call Tony at 770-755-7142  and Blake at 678-887-2401. Tell em you read about it in “The Paper.”

Speaking of “The Paper,” John Winters is having a spring special where you can buy one ad in a zone of The Shopper for regular price, and get another zone for half off and also half off in The Paper. This deal will not last long so buy now and be sure to tell Winters I sent you because he pays me for each one he gets. This is a win-win for  you, for me and for Winters. Call 770-254-1421 now for details.

I had the pleasure to visit the Monarch House again on Saturday, April 20 to listen to the very talented musical entertainer Pete Fodero. Should you need someone that can play all the greatest hits from the 50s to the 80s, simply call 404-610-7149 and tell him Mr. Personality sent you.

I was also invited by the beautiful and amazing Dez Ross, the lady in charge of events at the Monarch House, to join the guests for Easter dinner and it was yummy. I truly enjoy visiting the Monarch House. The owner, Victor Young, is a very hands-on type of owner. He carved the ham for Easter dinner.

I think Dez Ross should be cloned so every nursing home in town can have a version of her. She is truly awesome. You can reach her at 404-452-4442 for more information.

You may have noticed that I had been doing a lot of walking lately as my power chair was in the shop getting repairs. Once again my friend Bob came to my aid and got my power chair working once again. Divine spirit has been blessing me every day with people such as Bob and Ted that makes living in Newnan heaven on earth.

Until next time, thank you.
