Breast Cancer Center at CTCA-Atlanta achieves NAPBC Re-Accreditation

From Special Reports
Following a rigorous evaluation, the Breast Cancer Center at Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) Atlanta, located in Newnan, has achieved a three-year full re-accreditation by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC).
A program of the American College of Surgeons, the NAPBC challenges breast cancer centers to enhance care they provide by addressing patient-centered needs and measuring quality of care delivered against national standards. It upholds nationally recognized quality performance measures for breast cancer treatment.
“This accreditation is testament to a team committed to delivering the highest standards of quality and patient-centered care,” said Dr. Anita Johnson, director of breast surgical oncology at CTCA Atlanta. “We’re here to offer breast cancer patients specialized care and proud that NAPBC surveyors highlighted the value of our survivorship program, quality studies, engaged physicians and clinicians and more.”
