Newnan Christmas Parade Rescheduled

The city of Newnan has rescheduled the annual Christmas Parade to Saturday, Dec. 15 at 6 p.m.

The original date was Dec. 8 but was changed due to predicted inclement weather.

“The decision to reschedule the parade was not an easy decision to make, but the decision was made for the safety and protection of all of those participating and attending,” said Ashley Copeland, communications manager for Newnan.

The route for the parade will remain the same, beginning at Armory Road and travel against traffic on LaGrange Street, making a right hand turn on North Court Square going around the square to turn right on East Court Square, ending at Greenville Street.
