Weather: Cooler temperatures expected in Coweta later this week

After Sunday’s high of 82 degrees and today’s high expected to be near 80, cooler temperatures are on the way here in Coweta County.
The National Weather Service says to expect temperatures to begin dropping tomorrow with a high forecast of 76 degrees. The high drops to 65 on Wednesday, then is back to 70 on Thursday and 72 on Friday. Overnight lows will start at 62 tonight, then fall to the upper 40s on Tuesday and Wednesday nights.
Though the skies will be sunny to mostly sunny throughout the week, a strong Northeast wind will be at 5-10 mph tomorrow with gusts to 15, then 10-15 mph on Wednesday with gusts as high as 25.
A quick look at the weekend forecast calls for a high on Saturday of 61 with an overnight low of 31. Sunday’s high is expected to be near 52.
