From Staff Reports

As busy as the last two weekends have been in Coweta County, not so much this weekend as Christmas shopping and the holidays take center stage.

On Friday, the highlight is an American Military History program at the Newnan Carnegie Library.

Saturday has two shows scheduled of Charlie Brown Christmas at the Newnan Theatre Company.

And Sunday, it’s Bingo at Newnan’s American Legion Post 57.

Weather-wise, the National Weather Service says Friday has the best chance of rain of the three-day weekend. After the rain ends later today, Saturday and Sunday will have mostly to partly sunny skies with highs in the 50s and lows in the 30s. A slight chance of a shower moves in late Sunday.
