UPDATE – Saturday 7 p.m. Report: Coweta remains at 187 cases

UPDATE (7 p.m.) – Today’s second Daily Status Report has been issued by the Georgia Department of Public Health for Saturday, April 25.

This report indicates 23,216 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Georgia (an increase of 521 from today’s noon report) and 907 deaths (an increase of 3 from earlier today).

In Coweta County, the number of confirmed cases remained unchanged at 187 as did the deaths at 4. It marked only the third time since March 22 that Coweta County did not have a positive case in a day.

Adding the Georgia totals for today (Saturday) only, there’s 725 new cases, 8 deaths and 31 people hospitalized since last night’s report.

Comparing Saturday to Friday, there’s 117 more cases today than Friday, but 10 less deaths and 137 less hospitalized.
