Update – Thursday Evening Report: Coweta remains at 195
UPDATE (6:25 p.m.) – Today’s second Daily Status Report has been issued by the Georgia Department of Public Health for Thursday, April 30.
This report indicates 26,260 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Georgia (an increase of 227 from Thursday’s midday report) and 1132 deaths (an increase of 25 from earlier today).
In Coweta County, the number of confirmed cases is 195 and number of deaths is 4 (both unchanged today). Coweta has had 35 people hospitalized (also unchanged) due to COVID-19.
Adding the Georgia totals for today (Thursday) only, there’s 626 new cases, 37 deaths and 62 people hospitalized.
In the last two days (Wednesday and Thursday), Georgia had 1416 new cases, 96 deaths and 238 folks hospitalized.
