Weather: Cool, mostly dry work week ahead for Coweta

Sunny to partly sunny skies are expected the entire work week here in Coweta County, says the National Weather Service in Peachtree City.

Today and tomorrow will be the warmest days of the week with a high temperature near 56 degrees. Tonight’s low will be 38. 

On Tuesday, some clouds roll in during the morning hours as does a 20 percent rain chance. The afternoon becomes partly sunny and the overnight low is forecast for 28.

On Wednesday and Thursday, sunny skies return with highs of 48 and 49, respectively, and overnight lows of 27 Wednesday night and 33 Thursday.

A few clouds arrive Friday with partly sunny skies and a high of 46. 

The weekend looks dry and cool with Saturday’s high of 41 and Sunday’s high expected to be 50.

TUESDAY – A slight chance of showers between 8am and 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 56. West wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

TUESDAY NIGHT – Partly cloudy, with a low around 28. North wind 5 to 10 mph.

WEDNESDAY – Sunny, with a high near 48. North wind 5 to 10 mph.

THURSDAY – Sunny, with a high near 49.

FRIDAY – Partly sunny, with a high near 46.

SATURDAY – Sunny, with a high near 41.
