Weather: Mostly sunny and mild conditions to remain this week

If you liked this past weekend’s weather here in Coweta County, you’ll get more of the same this week says the National Weather Service in Peachtree City.

Sunny to mostly sunny skies are in the forecast through Wednesday with highs in the mid-70s and overnight lows from 45 degrees tonight to 56 on Wednesday night. 

Isolated showers will enter the extended forecast for Thursday with rain chances listed at 40 percent.

The rain moves out Friday with mostly sunny skies returning through the weekend. Highs will be in the lower 70s and the overnight lows near 50.

MONDAY – Sunny, with a high near 72. North wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the afternoon. 

MONDAY NIGHT – Mostly clear, with a low around 45. Calm wind. 

TUESDAY – Sunny, with a high near 73. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph. 

TUESDAY NIGHT – Partly cloudy, with a low around 50. Calm wind.

WEDNESDAY – Mostly sunny, with a high near 76. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph in the afternoon. 

THURSDAY – A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 75.

FRIDAY – Mostly sunny, with a high near 73.

SATURDAY – Sunny, with a high near 70.
