Weather: Sunny start to the week; rain returns late Wednesday

This Coweta County work week will start with sunny skies before rain moves in late Wednesday, early Thursday, says the National Weather Service in Peachtree City.
Monday and Tuesday are almost identical when it comes to the forecast, both will have sunny skies and high temperatures near 70 degrees. Overnight lows will be 45.
Clouds increase on Wednesday as a front approaches. Wednesday’s high will be 62 and a 30 percent rain chance appears in that night’s forecast.
This week’s rain event will be on Thursday with showers likely at 60 percent and a high near 56 degrees.
Once the front moves through early Friday, the coldest weather of the season thus far will settle in. Expect the highs on Friday and Saturday to be near 55 with overnight lows dropping into the mid-30s.
