Weather: Warm early in the week, cooler by Thursday

The National Weather Service in Peachtree City says to expect high temperatures in the lower 80s today and Tuesday before cooling down Thursday.
High temperatures are expected to be 81 degrees today and 83 on Tuesday under mostly sunny skies. Overnight lows will be in the mid-50s.
Rain chances increase to 30 percent on Wednesday and Wednesday night as a high of 77 is expected.
Then on Thursday, sunny skies return but highs will be only 70 degrees with overnight lows in the upper 40s.

MONDAY – Sunny, with a high near 81. West wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
MONDAY NIGHT – Mostly clear, with a low around 54. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
TUESDAY – Mostly sunny, with a high near 83. Calm wind becoming southwest around 5 mph in the afternoon.
TUESDAY NIGHT – Partly cloudy, with a low around 56. Calm wind.
WEDNESDAY – A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 77. Calm wind becoming southwest around 5 mph in the afternoon.
THURSDAY – Mostly sunny, with a high near 70.
FRIDAY – Partly sunny, with a high near 71.
SATURDAY – A 30 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 71.
