Weather Week in Coweta: Fall has finally arrived

It took a little longer according to the calendar, but fall has finally arrived in Coweta County.
The National Weather Service in Peachtree City says high temperatures this week will remain in the low 80s with slight rain chances – 30 percent – today and Tuesday.
And looking toward the weekend, the NWS says to expect highs on Saturday and Sunday in the upper 70s and lows in the upper 40s.
Here’s a day-by-day breakdown of this week’s forecast from NWS:
MONDAY – A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 3pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 84. East wind around 5 mph.
TUESDAY – A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 4pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 81. Northeast wind around 5 mph.
WEDNESDAY – Partly sunny, with a high near 81. East wind around 5 mph.
THURSDAY – Sunny, with a high near 82.
FRIDAY – Mostly sunny, with a high near 83.
