Weekend Weather: Cool and dry

The weekend forecast calls for cool temperatures and no rain, says the National Weather Service in Peachtree City.

Both Friday and Saturday will have sunny skies with highs in the low 50s. North to Northeast winds from 5-10 mph. Overnight lows of 29 on Friday night and 38 on Saturday night.

Sunday will be mostly cloudy with a high near 56 degrees.

Here’s the weekend forecast (subject to change) from the NWS:

FRIDAY – Sunny, with a high near 50. North wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.

FRIDAY NIGHT – Clear, with a low around 29. North wind around 5 mph.

SATURDAY – Sunny, with a high near 54. Northeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming southeast in the afternoon.

SATURDAY NIGHT – Partly cloudy, with a low around 38. Calm wind.

SUNDAY – Mostly cloudy, with a high near 56. Calm wind.

SUNDAY NIGHT – Partly cloudy, with a low around 40.
